The Twomey winemaking team refined their crafts at some of the most respected wineries from Burgundy to Oregon. The team shares their deep experience in winemaking, enology and viticulture to collaborate around a common goal: drawing out the best expression of each vineyard.

Although Justin Hirigoyen was introduced to wine through his father’s Basque restaurant in San Francisco, it was his first harvest in France at Chateau d’Esclans where he first fell in love with making wine.
Associate Winemaker, Oregon
California-born and Oregon-raised, Chris became captivated by the romance of wine while attending Le Cordon Bleu’s Western Culinary Institute in Portland, OR.
Associate Winemaker, Anderson Valley
Born in New York, Hope lived most of her life in Eastern Washington before joining Twomey in Spring 2022.
Assistant Winemaker, Russian River Valley
With over 14 years’ experience in the cellar, Dan knows the ins and outs of a winemaking operation.
Napa Valley born and raised, Nate has overseen wine production at Silver Oak and Twomey since 2014.
Brothers David, Tim, Kevin and Mike founded Twomey Cellars as a Duncan family venture in 1999. Proprietors David and Tim oversee day-to-day operations at the winery.
David R. Duncan
David has been the energetic catalyst behind all aspects of Twomey’s development, including the establishment of its two wineries in Calistoga and Healdsburg and the search for excellent vineyard sites and grower partners.
Tim’s experience in the Duncan family’s wine business dates back to the 1980s when he worked as a sales manager for Silver Oak, and he has been instrumental in the marketing and sales efforts of both brands.
