Sauvignon Blanc Wines
Among the world’s most popular white wine varietals, Sauvignon Blanc from California offers strikingly different expressions than found in either Sancerre or New Zealand. The telltale signature of Twomey Sauvignon Blanc is exuberant tropical fruit underpinned by a fresh mineral character. While our estate Sauvignon Blanc is a wine we drink fresh on hot summer days, our Merino Vineyard bottling ages several months longer leading to a deeper, more profound experience.
Estate Sauvignon Blanc
Our Sauvignon Blanc is sourced exclusively from four estate-owned vineyards in the Napa Valley and Russian River Valley.
Merino Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
Since the 2013 debut of the Merino Vineyard as a component of our estate Sauvignon Blanc, longtime fans of the wine observed its increased minerality and depth. Eventually, we decided to feature the site in a single-vineyard bottling that brilliantly expresses Sauvignon Blanc’s sauvage or “wild,” natural character. The wine’s powerful individuality delights the senses and leave us thirsty for another glass.
